The monograph contains mathematical models and numerical methods for solution of comprehensive range of problems related to aircraft wake vortex safety problems. Along with issues of generation and development of wake vortices past aircraft, experimental and numerical research methods of wake vortex evolution in turbulent atmosphere and their hazard for other aircraft, approaches to problems of space-time optimizaton of air traffic are explained with account of wake vortex safety requirements, centrol of aircraft separation procedures, wake risk assessment depending on environmental condition and air traffic intensity.
